CSK’s Ambati Rayudu hugged partner Suresh Raina while leaving the ground after a mix-up resulted in his run-out for 79 (37) against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
The incident took place on the 4th ball of 17th over. Rayudu hit pacer Siddarth Kaul towards long-off and tried to steal a second run after Kaul fumbled while receiving the throw. Raina stood his ground while Rayudu fell short trying to reach the non-striker’s end.
After getting run-out in the most unusual manner, Rayudu gave Raina a smile, hugged him and walked back towards the pavilion.
