She was in India as a part of England women’s team squad which toured here for a T20 tri-series (including Australia) and an ODI bilateral series played ahead of the beginning of the IPL.
Young India U-19 star batsman Shubman Gill, who is a part of Kolkata Knight Riders team this season, responded to Wyatt’s tweet and told her the wait is worth as it is going to be a big platform for women cricketers.
“The wait will be worth it. Hahah. Welcome to India,” replied Shubman.
