Mumbai Indians (MI) continued their winning way in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, beating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede stadium by 13 runs.
With this win, MI has kept their chances of making to the playoffs alive. It was a controlled bowling performance on part of Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah that squeezed the life out a strong KKR lineup, who were set to chase 182 to win. Captain Dinesh Karthik played a valiant knock of 36 runs for KKR.
Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav once again shined for MI, scoring a quick-fire 59. However, it was Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, who cramped down the hosts, picking 4 wickets between them to restrict their opponents to 181 for 4.
