Chennai Super Kings’ captain MS Dhoni’s knock against the Delhi Daredevils included five massive six, the longest of which was a 108-meter long one. It is also the second longest six so far in this IPL season.
While facing youngster Avesh Khan in the penultimate over of the innings, Dhoni smacked the pacer on the leg side for a humongous hit on the last ball.
The ball was a full-toss at waist-height and was nonchalantly flicked by Dhoni over the deep-square leg and was on the verge of going all the way outside the park.
MSD has already scored 20 sixes in this year’s IPL. He stands fifth amongst the batsmen with most sixes in the IPL overall with 176. Chris Gayle is a distant first in the list with a tally of 288 which seems unassailable at the moment. Both veterans have been displaying their vintage form in full flow so far.
