Sunrisers Hyderabad leg-spinner Rashid Khan produced his trademark googly to deceive Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman AB de Villiers as RCB claimed a thrilling 5-run victory against RCB on Monday night.
Rashid has been deceiving batsmen at will this IPL season. After getting off to a mediocre start in the tournament, the Afghanistan lad stepped up to produce the sort of performances that made him world no. 1 T20 international bowler at such a tender age.
Facing the former South African skipper AB De Villiers, the fourth delivery of the 11th over of RCB innings saw Rashid bowl his trademark googly which the Proteas legend failed to read. As a result, the ball took the inside edge of the bat before falling straight onto the stumps.
