WATCH: Afghanistan players does a ‘NAAGIN’ dance post whitewash over Bangladesh

Afghanistan whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 in the T20I series by defeating the visiting team by one run in the third and final match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Jovial Afghanistan players on the field trolled Bangladesh by performing a “Naagin dance” at the end of the game.

This dance form was created and popularised by Bangladesh team during the Nidahas Trophy in Sri Lanka earlier this year.

The third T20I between the two sides went down to the wire as Afghanistan had to defend nine runs off the final six balls.

Afghan captain entrusted Rashid Khan with the job and their best bowler did not disappoint. He gave just seven runs in the final over to lead his team to a one-run victory over Bangladesh. The fielder at the long-on also deserves full credit for the win as the ball could have gone for a six but he jumped and prevented the ball from crossing the line. The other fielder came running and threw the ball towards the wicketkeeper, who dislodged the bails before the batsmen could complete the third run.
