Ahead of the five-match Test series against England, Virat Kohli & Co. played a one-off practice match against Essex County Cricket Club.
India failed to bowl out the county side in 94 overs before Shikhar Dhawan suffered another batting failure on the final day. He was clean bowled on duck in the 2nd innings after facing 3 deliveries.
While the Indian team management may have a few things to ponder over, ahead of the all-important rubber, the cricketers sure did enjoy their time at the game.

Earlier, Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya were given a traditional Punjabi welcome too as they came out to bat on Day 2 of the three-day game.
