Virat Kohli was caught trying to get under the skin of Stuart Broad on day four of the recently-concluded third Test between England and India at Trent Bridge. Broad gave Rishabh Pant a fiery send-off to debutant Rishabh Pant during the first innings.
The incident had occurred in the 92nd over. Pant inside-edged Broad onto his stumps to be dismissed for 24. Broad, however, did not let the debutant make his way to the pavilion without any drama as he walked towards him and spoke in an aggressive manner.
Meanwhile, Kohli-Broad chattering happened on the fourth day of the match.
“Bolta reh jo bolna hai, Achhi baat hai (keep on saying what you want, it’s good),” said Kohli. To which Broad replied, “That’s aggressive”.
And then Kohli was seen quickly reminding the Englishman about his send-off to Pant, “That’s what you get for having a go at the youngster”.
With a broad smile on his face, the seamer was heard replying, “It’s Test cricket man. It’s aggressive. That’s aggressive Virat”.
