Afghanistan’s left-arm chinaman bowler Zahir Khan has been astonishingly consistent in the ongoing Vitality T20 Blast.
Zahir may not have made his debut for Afghanistan national side yet, but it looks like selectors will line up at his door after watching his superb performance in England.
In the quarter-final clash against Kent, Zahir took the prized wicket of skipper Sam Billings with a ball that spun a mile to hit the top of the stump, uprooting it from the ground.
The stock leg-spin from Zahir turned a lot more than usual. While walking back to the dugout, Billings lauded the 19-year-old’s peach of a delivery.
