Asia Cup 2018: Teams, format and squads

The fourteenth edition of Asian Cricket Council’s premier championship, Asia Cup, is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 15 till September 28, 2018.

Unlike the previous edition (T20), the tournament will revert back to the 2006 format (ODI) and will feature six Asian teams: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.

Format:

All six teams have been divided into two groups A and B. The top two teams from each group will move ahead to the Super Four stage and from there the top two teams will then compete for the title in the final.

All of the matches will be played across two venues: Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. Team India will play all its matches at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, irrespective of their standings in Group or Super four stage.

India:

Pakistan:

Bangladesh:
