On Day 3 of the fourth Test between England and India at Southampton, Indian pacer Mohammed Shami pulled off a stunning effort to run-out England skipper Joe Root, who missed out on his 42nd Test half-century by 2 runs.
In the 46th over of England’s second innings, Ishant Sharma banged one full-length delivery on the pads of Ben Stokes which the latter flicked towards the leg side. Shami came in running to collect the ball while the English pair ran to steal a quick single. But Shami has other ideas; his rapid throw rattled the stumps with Root falling short by a considerable margin.
