AB de Villiers to take a final call on his international retirement in January 2019

The Proteas star batsman AB de Villiers shocked everyone earlier this year with his retirement from international cricket.

He came up with two reasons for the sudden retirement, first he stated that he had run out of steam to cop up the physical demands of the game and the second reason was that for him, playing for South Africa meant playing all three formats or nothing.

Before announcing his retirement. De Villiers had a superb Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Also, he was in prime form in preceding Australia and India Test series.
