Kedar Jadhav has been recalled into the India squad for the final two ODIs against West Indies in Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.
Jadhav, who picked up a hamstring injury in the final of the Asia Cup in UAE, was left out of the Indian squad for the first two ODIs firstly. On Wednesday, he was not selected for the final three ODIs as well despite him being fit and playing domestic cricket.
He represented Dinesh Karthik-led India ‘A’ side in their loss to India ‘C’ in the Deodhar Trophy and scored a breezy 25-ball 41 not out but was expensive with the ball as he conceded 41 runs from five overs.
Meanwhile, the BCCI’s acting secretary, Amitabh Choudhary stated, “After Jadhav has demonstrated his fitness, he’s been included in the team for the 4th and 5th ODIs”.
