Medium-pacer Mohammad Abbas took his maiden ten-wicket haul in a match to fire Pakistan to a 373-run win over Australia in the second Test at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
Abbas followed his 5/33 in the first innings with figures of 5/62 to wreck Australia for 164 after they were set a mammoth 538-run target.
This win gave Pakistan a 1-0 win in the two-match series after Australia fought back to draw the first Test in Dubai last week.
Abbas destroyed Australia with a haul of 17 wickets in the series — becoming the first Pakistani fast bowler to take ten wickets in a Test since Mohammad Asif’s feat against Sri Lanka at Kandy in 2006.

Brilliant bowling Mohammad Abbas. We have found a real gem in him, really hope he continues to perform this way. Wonderful work on UAE pitches. Pakistan should aim for a lead in excess of 400, we have the bowling to win this one. Keep going strong boys! 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰 #PAKvAUS

Don't ever let it be said that a bowler must have high pace to succeed in Test cricket. Mohammad Abbas now has the fourth lowest Test bowling average in history and he's operating at an average speed of 127 kph (79 mph). #PAKvAUS pic.twitter.com/0rPU9CBUfQ

Amazingly Abbas' career average (15.81) is the best for any bowler who's taken at least 50 wickets in Tests in last 122 years.
