India veteran MS Dhoni has been an inspiration for many, especially with his lightning-quick and innovative wicketkeeping skills.
Youngsters, budding cricketers have always tried to emulate his techniques and Ishan Kishan is the latest entrant.
Kishan recently tried to pull off a Dhoni during Vijay Hazare trophy quarterfinal match between Jharkhand and Maharashtra at MA Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Among many techniques, one of Dhoni’s signature technique is where he does sort of a no-look throw towards the wickets to inflict a run-out.
Young Kishan did the same during the game against Maharashtra. The incident took place in the 28th over when Maharashtra’s score was 122 for 4, skipper Rahul Tripathi came down the track to hit a big shot off Shahbaz Nadeem’s bowling. Rahul checked his shot and wanted to steal a quick single but Kishan hit the bails in Dhoni’s style.
Though the batsman was well inside his crease but Ishan showed a hint of Dhoni.
