India vs West Indies 4th ODI: Ravindra Jadeja beat India captain Virat Kohli to the ball after the Windies opener Chanderpaul Hemraj stroked the ball in between point and covers at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium.
In the first over of the Windies innings, Jadeja was stationed at point and Kohli was at covers. The top two fielders in the Indian side gave their best while chasing the ball but it was Jadeja who eventually reached the ball faster than Kohli.
The southpaw then made a sliding stop and parried the leather back to Kohli. On realising that Jadeja had crossed him, Kohli slowed down and allowed his teammate to collect the ball. The 29-year-old Delhi lad did an excellent job as well, hurling an accurate throw to wicketkeeper MS Dhoni.
In the meantime, Hemraj and Kieron Powell completed two runs comfortably.
