Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is one of the best spinners in the world. He is currently plying his trade for the Maratha Arabians franchise in the ongoing edition of the T10 League in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Rashid recently had hosted a question-answer session on the popular social networking site Instagram where he answered his fans’ questions. He pleased a lot of his fans by writing their name on a jersey with his autograph. But, a certain fan popped up a question to Rashid asking who is his favorite female cricketer, which led to a lovely moment on the internet.
Many felt that Danielle Wyatt’s name would be at the top of his list. It was not to be. The Afghan leg-spinner picked Sarah Taylor, England wicket-keeper, as his favourite and also tagged her in his story. Sarah missed the World T20 in the West Indies due to her anxiety problems.
Sarah also quickly responded to Rashid as even she updated her Instagram story. She expressed her elation for being picked by the Afghanistani star as his favourite cricketer and captioned her story as, “I can die happy now.” The 20-year-old was again online to answer fans’ questions after the T10 match and was left in splits to watch Sarah’s story.
To leave the fans amazed, even he continued the conversation requesting Sarah not to die.
