WATCH: Faf du Plessis takes a sensational catch to dismiss D’Arcy Short

During the first ODI against Australia in Perth on Sunday, South Africa captain Faf Du Plessis took a sensational catch at second slip to dismiss the dangerous D’Arcy Short for a duck.

It was the third over of the match when South Africa speedster Dale Steyn pitched the ball up to Short and the Australian left-handed batsman came hard at it as he looked to play it through covers, but only managed to find a thick edge and a flying Du Plessis did the rest.

Faf was at full stretch when he plucked the ball. Also, it was Steyn’s second wicket of the match, with Travis Head his first victim two balls prior.
