Afghanistan’s star all-rounder Rashid Khan on Wednesday emulated former India captain MS Dhoni’s signature ‘helicopter shot’ during the ongoing T10 league in Sharjah.
Former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag, who is also the batting coach of Maratha Arabians in the tournament, applauded Rashid’s shot from the dugout after the right-hander whacked the ball for a six.
The incident happened on the final ball of the eighth over when Pakhtoons’ pacer Mohammad Irfan bowled a full length delivery to the Afghan batsman. Rashid stayed back in his crease and slogged Irfan over long-on for a maximum.

Unfortunately for Rashid, his side was on the losing end of the clash as Pakhtoons chased down the 126-run target with four balls to spare.
