Former Australia captain Steve Smith won’t take part in the upcoming Test series against India starting December 6 since he is banned from international cricket till March, but that hasn’t stopped him from helping his team’s fast bowlers prepare.
On Tuesday, Smith took part in a net session at the SCG where he faced Australia’s Test quicks Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins.
Smith was seen working through his full repertoire – flicking Starc through the on-side, punching Hazlewood through cover and pulling Cummins to square leg.
However, at one point, he was floored by a Hazlewood bouncer.
