WATCH: Umesh Yadav slips in his delivery stride during the practice match against Cricket Australia XI

Indian fast bowler Umesh Yadav had an awkward moment while delivering his first ball of the first innings during Cricket Australia XI vs India practice match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Thursday.

D’ Arcy Short was on strike to face the ball while 19-year-old Max Bryant was at the non-striker’s end.

Umesh started his run-up in order to get it right from the word ‘go’ and just when he was in his delivery stride and about to bowl the first ball, his back leg slipped.

With a lot of rain in Sydney on the first day of the match, the area near crease became wet and it could’ve cost Team India with one of their in-form fast bowlers. But Umesh didn’t sustain any kind of injury and continued bowling.

Here’s the video:

India will take on Australia in the first Test of a four-match series from December 6 onwards in Adelaide.
