Australia’s star batsman Glenn Maxwell launched consecutive sixes onto the road, leaving fans and commentators stunned into silence during a recent Big Bash League (BBL) match.

Maxwell, who is the captain of Melbourne Stars in BBL|08, played a freakish knock of 47 against the Hobart Hurricanes. His innings included five sixes and one of the sixes stood out among all.

The ‘Big Show’ played a switch hit and sent the ball out of the ground. Even on-field umpires Shawn Craig and Sam Nogajski had to call the fourth umpire for the box of replacement balls after the massive six.
