On Day 2 of the second Test between Australia and India at the Perth Stadium, Indian speedster Umesh Yadav bowled a delivery that left the Aussie right-hander Pat Cummins clueless before going through his defence to disturb the timbers.
It was the last ball of the 105th over, and Umesh bowled an absolute peach of a delivery. The ball was on a goodish length, Cummins was fatally caught in the crease – with feet rooted. It just held it’s line after pitching, Cummins was playing for the in-dipper and the ball beat the outside edge of his bat to dislodge the off-stump.
It was a dream delivery and result for a fast bowler to hit the top of the stump and Umesh managed just that.
