Indian star batsman Rohit Sharma on Wednesday asked wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant to babysit his new-born daughter Samaira.
Replying to Pant’s “Good Morning” post on Twitter, the Hitman wrote, “Morning buddy. Heard you’re a good baby sitter, need one right now. Ritika will be quite happy @RishabPant777.”

During the third Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Melbourne, when Australia captain Tim Paine offered Pant to babysit his kids during their sledging session, nobody would have ever thought that this could be true.
The on-field banter was taken way too seriously by Paine’s wife Bonnie as she posted an Instagram story of Pant babysitting her kids with the caption “best babysitter”.
To carry on the banter, even Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh demanded a babysitter and Pant is all set to happily don the role for his beloved teammate.
🤣🤣🤣 could definitely use one @RishabPant777 @ImRo45 https://t.co/vNeiDOzxp5

Pant, however, didn’t give a normal response to Rohit’s post and dragged Yuzvendra Chahal in the conversation asking if he is not doing his job well.
Chahal, every now and then, is behind Ritika trolling her by posting pictures with Rohit and the Indian wicket-keeper didn’t leave an opportunity to include him in the conversation.
Having said that, Pant was more than happy to babysit Samaira and responded saying, “@ImRo45 Hahhaa.. Bhaiya @yuzi_chahal not doing his job properly? More than happy to babysit Samaira Congratulations @ritssajdeh.”
