Team India’s star batsman Rohit Sharma has revealed the name of his new-born daughter on Twitter. He also wrote a beautiful poem for her along with a link for the song “Girls Like You” by Maroon 5.
Rohit and his wife Ritika became proud parents of a baby girl on December 31, 2018.
“I spent last night On the last flight to you Took a whole day up Trying to get way up Baby Samaira,” Rohit wrote on his official Twitter handle.

Earlier, Rohit has shared an adorable picture with the newborn. In the picture, the baby could be seen holding fingers of her father and mother.

Rohit, who was on the tour of Australia, missed the fourth Test and flew back to Mumbai soon after his wife delivered the baby.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in a statement announced that Rohit will join the squad on January 8, when the team begins its preparation for the One-day International (ODI) series starting on January 12 in Sydney.
