Australia might be reeling under India’s mountain of runs in the fourth and final Test of the series at the Sydney Cricket Ground but their skipper Tim Paine showed he had not lost his sense of humour during the press conference after the second day’s play.
The Australian captain brought a hilarious moment to his post-match press conference when he answered a reporter’s phone that rang while he was being quizzed.
Here’s the hilarious exchange
“Tim Paine speaking. Who is it, sorry? It’s Katie in Hong Kong. Who are you after?” he said, leaving the media persons in splits.
“Ah Martin, he’s in the middle of a press conference at the moment. Can I get him to call you back?
“No worries, I’ll tell him to check his emails. Thanks Katie, cheers,” he added.

While Paine has had heated exchanges with India skipper Virat Kohli during the Perth Test, he has shared funny moments with Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma.
During the Melbourne Test, Paine had asked Pant to babysit for him and his wife.
