MS Dhoni was once again at his very best behind the stumps, showing exactly why he remains integral to India’s chances heading into the 2019 World Cup. The veteran wicket-keeper pulled off a lightning-quick stumping during the second ODI between New Zealand and India at the Bay Oval to dismiss Ross Taylor.
The dismissal was a very close call but it was Dhoni who had the last laugh as the Kiwi supporters were left stunned.
It was the first ball of 18th over in the second innings when Dhoni caught inform Ross Taylor short of the crease and in quick time removed the bails to send him packing for 22.

Earlier, during the first ODI in Napier, Dhoni brilliantly plotted Trent Boult’s dismissal, telling Kuldeep Yadav exactly what and where to bowl.
