VIDEO: When Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed Sachin Tendulkar for a duck in Indian first-class cricket

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has established himself as a key player for Indian Cricket Team in the last few years.

The right-arm pacer has become a force to reckon with, especially in white-ball cricket. He will be a vital cog in Virat Kohli’s side during the ICC World Cup 2019.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the only player to dismiss Sachin Tendulkar for a duck in first class-cricket

Playing for Uttar Pradesh in the 2008-09 season of Ranji Trophy, Bhuvi was a relative newcomer, the 19-year-old fast bowler realised his dream of dismissing Sachin Tendulkar in the 14th delivery of his spell. He was obviously overjoyed, to say the least, and it was quite evident from how he celebrated the wicket.

Bhuvi later said that it took a long time to sink in that he had actually taken the wicket of the ‘Master Blaster’. It was a beautiful inswinger which Tendulkar had a problem dealing with. It took the inside half of the bat and hit the pads before it ballooned straight in the air and the fielder stationed at the deep short-leg position completed a terrific catch.
