Team India captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have expressed their condolences to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who were killed during a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
In what is being reported as one of the deadliest attacks in decades on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, at least 44 CRPF personnel lost their lives when a suicide bomber rammed a car containing explosive close to 320 kgs into a bus carrying the Indian paramilitary police.
Reacting to the Pulwama horror, Kohli wrote: “I’m shocked after hearing about the attack in Pulwama, heartfelt condolences to the martyred soldiers & prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured jawaans.”
