Jason Roy pulled off an outrageous athletic catch at the mid-wicket boundary for Sylhet Sixers against Chittagong Vikings in the 40th match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019.
On the fourth ball of the eighth over of the Vikings’ innings, Roy latched on to the ball that was initially traveling like a rocket.

Alok Kapali bowled a very loose half-tracker, which was rightfully met by the willow-wielder. When it left Yasir Ali’s bat, it had six written all over it. But Jason Roy had other plans. He tracked the ball till the very end, back-peddled and never looked like getting there.
The opener leapt at the right time and in full stretch, with one hand, grabbed a stunning catch.
You are not likely to see a better catch than this all year. Really, words can’t do justice to that magnificent display of athleticism by Roy.
