Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan troll Kedar Jadhav on Instagram

Indian’s middle-order batsman and the ‘X-factor’ of the national team, Kedar Jadhav seems to be in the news. He won the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his all-round heroics in India’s six-wicket victory over Australia in the first ODI at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Saturday.

However, before the match, he was already in the limelight courtesy his recent post on Instagram. Jadhav uploaded a picture on the photo-sharing website posing with his bike.

To this, teammates Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Shikhar Dhawan were quick to react and pulled the 33-year-old’s leg. Rohit was the opener here as well and first to comment. He recommended Jadhav for a role in Bollywood movie ‘Race 4’.

Hardik, who is currently out of the Indian team due to injury, followed suit and wrote, “Bhai, bhai apna sab ka bhai Kedar bhai.” Dhawan, on the other hand,  compared Jadhav’s swag to his favourite actor, Salman Khan.

With the ICC Cricket World Cup less than three months away, the ongoing ODI series against Australia is India’s last international assignment. While the upcoming IPL may have an impact in the team selection, an opportunity to step up will rarely be missed.

In the last two years, India has lost just one bilateral ODI series against England last year. This just explains the dominance of the number 2 ranked team in this format.
