IPL 2019: Delhi Capitals team players list and their salaries

Delhi Capitals is the only team that has not made it to the finals of the Indian Premier League (IPL) so far. With their name changed from Delhi Daredevils, the side will be hoping to change their fortunes in the upcoming season with their local player Shikhar Dhawan, who featured for them in 2008 back in the squad.

The Delhi-based franchise will be led by Shreyas Iyer, who took over the captaincy from India veteran Gautam Gambhir in the middle of last season. Meanwhile, the Capitals released nearly half of their team members before the auction including Gambhir.

They bought ten players in total at the IPL Auction 2019 including South Africa’s big-hitter Colin Ingram, a 20-year-old Windies all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford and India’s left-arm orthodox bowler Axar Patel.

DC will start their IPL 2019 campaign against the Mumbai Indians in an away game on Sunday, March 24.
