Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly turned back the clock on Thursday as he picked up the bat during the practice session of Delhi Capitals (DC) and played his majestic drives and cuts at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi.
Even though Ganguly has called time for more than a decade now, the latest video posted by DC shows that the ‘God of off-side’ has still some cricket left in him.
‘Dada’ was spotted receiving throwdowns at the training session and the 46-year-old slashed some of the throws towards the point region, just like he used to do during his playing days.
The strokes will surely give nostalgia to cricket fans of the 90s.
DC’s assistant coach Mohammed Kaif was also seen collecting few throws during a fielding drill.

Ahead of the 12th edition of the IPL, Ganguly was roped in by Delhi franchise as a team advisor.
Ganguly, who was a highly successful captain of the Indian Cricket Team, will now look to take Delhi Capitals to their first IPL trophy victory.
