The 12th season of the biggest T20 tournament is set to begin on 23rd March 2019. For the first match, defending champions Chennai Super Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

5. Robin Uthappa: 4129 Runs
The 33-year-old, right-handed batsman has been the part of Kolkata Knight Riders from IPL season 7. In 2014, he scored 660 runs in the season, winning the Orange Cap. The Kolkata Knight Riders ended up winning the tournament that year.
