WATCH: Hardik Pandya smashes Mohammed Siraj out of Chinnaswamy, shows off his muscle power during RCB vs MI clash

In an entertaining thriller last night, Mumbai Indians registered a controversial win against Royal Challengers Banglore by 6 runs at M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and pacer Jasprit Bumrah played a crucial role in MI’s first victory of the season.

Earlier, RCB skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bowl first in Match 7 of IPL 2019. Mumbai Indians had a solid start and at one point, they were cruising towards a big total. But RCB’s star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a superb spell, picking up 4 wickets. With wickets falling at one end, Hardik held the other end and showed his class during the final overs.

Hardik played a brilliant knock of 32 runs in just 14 balls, hitting 2 fours and 3 monstrous sixes. Thanks to some power hitting by ‘kung-fu’ Pandya, Mumbai Indians managed to put up a total of 187 runs in 20 overs.

In the last over of Mumbai Indians’ inning, Hardik Pandya smashes a huge six off Mohammed Siraj, that went out of the park. After hitting that shot, Pandya showed off his muscle power.

With this win, Mumbai Indians jumped to the 5th spot on the points table. The team will play their next match against Kings XI Punjab at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali on 30th March.
