The deadly Indian pair of Kuldeep Yadav and MS Dhoni worked in tandem to dismiss the Australian middle-order batsman Peter Handscomb during the first ODI at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Handscomb had to walk back to the pavilion after being stumped in the 30th over of the match. On the final ball of the over, Handscomb came down but Yadav’s flight and turn completely foxed the batsman; the ball went through the gap between the bat and pad.
The ever-alert Dhoni did the rest behind the stumps. Handscomb could only stop, turn back and watch as Dhoni dislodged the bails. The Aussie right-hander ended up scoring 19 off 30 balls.
