MS Dhoni is one of those cricketers who is never short of popularity. Be it at the club or international level, the India veteran is always followed by his fans closely.
Dhoni will be leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 and ahead of the first game of the tournament against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Chepauk stadium, local kids came in to watch their hero practice.
The 37-year-old saw them standing and cheering for him. He then decided to cross the boundary and obliged them with autographs. The fans cheered Dhoni’s name harder at this gesture.
The children were seen in boundless joy when Dhoni approached them to give autographs.
The video of Dhoni’s gesture was also posted on Twitter by CSK and they captioned it: “The #Yellove on the faces of all the kids out there defines #Thala and the #AnbuDen! #WhistlePodu”
