During the fourth ODI of ongoing five-match series between India and Australia, the Indian captain Virat Kohli hit a boundary in his own style which later became a source of amazement for the spectators in Mohali.
While one usually associates Kohli with orthodox cricketing shots, fans witnessed the right-hand batsman trying his hands at an unconventional shot.
It all happened on the last delivery of the 39th over when Kohli walked across the stumps to Australia’s left-arm pacer Jason Behrendorff.
In what was a length delivery, Kohli slapped it without even watching the ball as it ended up crossing the fine-leg boundary for four. Kohli’s amazing shot even left his batting partner KL Rahul in awe and the latter smiled after watching his captain’s brilliance.
