The ongoing 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has produced a number of moments where the players have shown displeasure towards the umpire’s decision and Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma joined the list during the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.
Rohit was bamboozled by a straight delivery from KKR’s seamer Harry Gurney and the ball hit Rohit on the back leg. The umpire ruled him out LBW straight away but the MI opener was not convinced and he went for the review.
Once again, the decision did not go in Rohit’s way and he was not happy as it was umpire’s call which proved to be the deciding factor.
While going back to the dug-out, Rohit had a few words with the umpire and he also knocked down the bails at the non-striker’s end.
