IPL 2019: Mohammed Shami tries to smear cake on KXIP co-owner Preity Zinta’s face

A win in any match demands for a celebration and the same was done by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) after their 14-run victory win over Delhi Capitals on last Monday.

Delhi lost their last seven wickets for just eight runs in 16 balls to lose the game. At one stage, it was a cakewalk for them in the run-chase but the hosts won the game from nowhere and it called for a celebration post the proceedings in the middle.

Upon reaching the hotel in Mohali, Ravichandran Ashwin & Co. got together to cut the cake and Sam Curran was the man of the moment for his sensational hat-trick. Even the team’s co-owner and the Bollywood actress Preity Zinta joined them while also warning that the cake shouldn’t be wasted.

The cake was cut by the English cricketer and despite Preity’s appeal, the KXIP players applied cake on Sam Curran’s face. During that period, Mohammed Shami, who also played a crucial role in his side’s victory, tried to put the cake on Preity’s face which the actress avoided. She tried to get away from Shami and instructed him not to do that to her.

“Please don’t do that…don’t do that…Shami don’t that,” she was heard saying to Shami in the video.
