Cricket aficionados have taken their passion to a different level altogether in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
We have already witnessed a fan breaching security to touch MS Dhoni’s feet during Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Delhi Capitals (DC) clash at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. And now, a young fan broke into tears after meeting Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma.
MI have always been at the forefront of letting fans access the stars and arrange meetups and greets with the team players. One such incidence saw a bunch of fans getting to meet the owners of Mumbai Indians, Nita and Akash Ambani, and along with them, the players of the franchise.
A video was recently shared by a Rohit Sharma fan account on Twitter in which some lucky fans got to meet their heroes at the Wankhede Stadium.
A fan couldn’t control his emotions on meeting Rohit. He hugged the MI skipper and burst into tears. Rohit was also moved by this emotional gesture and was seen having a little chat with his die-hard fan.
