IPL 2019 – WATCH: KKR cheerleader breaks into tears as Jofra Archer finishes it off in style for RR

The 43rd match of the IPL 2019 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) turned out to be a thriller. The game played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday night went down to the last over.

With nine runs required off it, all-rounder Jofra Archer hit a four and a six off Prasidh Krishna to help the Royals win the encounter by 3 wickets.

It was RR’s first win over KKR since 2008 even as the hosts are almost knocked out from this season’s IPL.

Meanwhile, a video of the Knight Riders’ cheerleader crying after the match got over is going viral on social media. The tears rolling down the eyes of KKR cheerleader goes to depicts the amount of passion, emotion and feelings associated with the game.

It also goes to show how the cheerleaders whom the crowd see cheering with energetic fabulous moves and grinning throughout the tournament get emotionally attached with their team, irrespective of their nationality or ethnicity.

Earlier, after put in to bat, captain Dinesh Karthik batted led from the front and single-handedly helped KKR to a competitive total of 175/6 in their stipulated 20 overs.
