IPL 2019 – WATCH: Shreyas Gopal outfoxes Kane Williamson with a perfect wrong’un (RR vs SRH)

After bamboozling two of the world’s best batsmen Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers twice with his ‘wrong’un’, Shreyas Gopal added yet another feather in his cap by picking up the wicket of Kane Williamson, who is one of the batsmen in the ‘Fab Four’ of modern day cricket.

This all happened during an IPL clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Jaipur on Saturday. In the fourth over of the match, Gopal bowled a delivery outside the off stump; the SRH skipper Kane Williamson failed to read as well as judge the ball and was completely deceived by Gopal’s wrong’un.

Gopal erupted in celebrations after picking up the big wicket and his team-mates joined in as well as Williamson walked back to the dugout.

Here’s the video:

Gopal has so far claimed 15 wickets in 12 matches that he has played at an economy of 7.30. Against SRH, he finished his bowling spell with figures of 4-0-30-2.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan bowlers inflicted a massive collapse after the dismissal of David Warner and Manish Pandey as they restricted the visiting team to 160 for 8 in 20 overs. In response, openers Ajinkya Rahane and Liam Livingstone started off on a great note with a 78-run stand before Sanju Samson ensured Royals chased down the total with five balls to spare.
