IPL 2019 – WATCH: Virat Kohli pulls-off a brilliant catch to dismiss Shubman Gill (KKR vs RCB)

Virat Kohli took his revenge from Shubman Gill when the former dismissed the latter in the second innings during an IPL clash between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Eden Gardens on Friday. Shubman took a catch to dismiss Kohli at 100 in the first innings of the game.

Meanwhile, Kohli pulled off a brilliant catch in the second innings to dismiss Shubman for just 9 runs.

RCB speedster Dale Steyn pitched it up on the final ball of the fifth over and Shubman tried to hit the ball over the head of the mid-off fielder.

However, the young lad was unable to connect properly and it looked like Kohli will be able to catch it comfortably. The RCB skipper fluffed his lines on the first attempt but was able to gather it on the rebound with his left hand.

Here’s the video:

Earlier, Kohli notched up his fifth century in the IPL while Moeen Ali too struck a belligerent fifty to help RCB post a mammoth 213/4 in 20 overs.

Chasing the mammoth total, KKR batsmen Andre Russell (65) and Nitish Rana (85 not out) played power-packed innings but failed to help their side in crossing the line as they lost by 10 runs against the Red Army.
