IPL 2019 – WATCH: MS Dhoni’s lightning fast stumpings to dismiss Chris Morris and Shreyas Iyer (CSK vs DC)

MS Dhoni is no stranger to lightning fast stumpings and during an IPL clash against Delhi Capitals (DC), the brilliance of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper was in full display.

Dhoni pulled off two brilliant stumpings to account for the dismissals of Chris Morris and Shreyas Iyer as CSK marched on to a victory at their home ground.

In the 21th over bowled by Ravindra Jadeja, DC were struggling and the least the batsmen expected was for Dhoni to strike from behind and everyone knows, ‘if you miss, he hits’.

Dhoni removed Chris Morris and Shreyas Iyer in a span of three balls. What is even more gobsmacking, is that he stumped the two batsmen MID-AIR.

Here’s the video:

Earlier, Dhoni’s batting prowess powered the hosts to 179/4 in 20 overs after being put to bat first by the visitors. Suresh Raina struck a fighting half-century before Dhoni provided a late flourish with an unbeaten 44 off 22 balls.

Later, CSK bowled out Delhi for 99, to win the clash by 80 runs, with 22 balls to spare and reclaimed their top spot.
