IPL 2019: Who is Deepika Ghose? All you need to know about ‘Mystery RCB fan girl’

IPL fan or not, you must have come across an ‘RCB fan girl’, Deepika Ghose, who appeared for a few moments on the big screen during the RCB vs SRH match at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium and rose to fame, apparently becoming the ‘national crush’ instantly.

As per some claims on social media, Deepika had a mere 5,000 followers on Instagram before her moment as an ‘RCB fan girl’, but her followers shot up to 2,80,000 within a span of just 2 days.

A number of fake accounts by her name came to the fore after RCB’s final league match on Saturday, but recently, she delivered a message on her official account, confirming her original page.

Who’s Deepika Ghose?

Deepika majored in dance from Scripps College at Claremont in California. She has been plying trade in dancing ever since her childhood and has been trained in contemporary, ballet, Bollywood, hip-hop, jazz, African dance and modern therapy dances.

She has also performed on the stage, involving the renowned Martha Graham Dance Company along with performances in France and Paris.

She also taught dance in Bengaluru, Mumbai as well as Claremont as a part of Dance with Dee initiative. She presently conducts group and individual lessons for adults and children and also does choreography for wedding and events.

From her Instagram profile, it also seems that she has a lot of connections in Bollywood as she has pictures with the likes of Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
