England skipper Eoin Morgan recently participated in a rapid-fire round with ESPNCricinfo. He answered a few really tough questions and had to reveal his choices among the given two options.
The questions were mostly related to cricket, food, and TV series. Morgan was really quick to respond and didn’t take much time.
The southpaw was asked to choose between Virat Kohli and Joe Root, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, Rohit Sharma and AB de Villiers, and also among India and Pakistan.
Among the highlighted questions, he went with Root over Kohli, Lara over Tendulkar, De Villiers over Rohit, and India over Pakistan. Also, Morgan chose Indian Premier League (IPL) over Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL).

Morgan, who will lead England in the upcoming World Cup, also believes that he has the side to go all the way and clinch the trophy this year.
“Next year, at the moment we are favourites, so presuming nothing goes horrifically wrong between now and the start of the World Cup, that will probably stay the same,” Morgan was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
“World Cup history suggests that going into the World Cup you have to be ranked in the top three or four in the world in order to be genuine contenders, so you’d probably have to consider the top three or four and then you’d probably throw Pakistan in there, because on their day they can beat any team,” he further added.
