One would expect Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun to model his batting on his illustrious father’s style. However, he appears to have adapted the game of another dashing batsman – Yuvraj Singh.
During the ongoing T20 Mumbai League at the Wankhede stadium, Arjun reminded the Indian cricket fans of vintage Yuvraj by hitting a jaw-dropping six against Eagle Thane Strikers. Representing Aakash Tigers, Arjun played a pull shot which landed in the top tier of the stadium.
During the 8th over of Tigers’ innings, Surve bowled a short pitch delivery. Arjun picked the length early and smashed the ball ferociously over deep square leg for a maximum.

“Some time back Sachin told me that Arjun bats like me. When I watched him, he reminded me of my younger days in Chandigarh and the Sector 16 Stadium. Arjun is passionate about the game and that comes from his father,” Yuvraj earlier said during an interview.
