Danielle de Villiers shut down a rude fan who blamed her for AB’s retirement

AB de Villiers retired from international cricket in May 2018 – exactly one year before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 – because he had “run of out of gas” and would focus on only playing in the T20 Leagues around the world going forward.

As South Africa implode on the world stage, AB is enjoying some quality time at home with his wife Danielle. He recently featured in the 12th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and had a decent outing.

However, one of the fans couldn’t keep himself from subjecting his frustrations at Danielle who had posted a lovely picture on her Instagram with AB.

“I hope you don’t mind that I put down in words… How wonderful life is now you’re in the world. Much needed afternoon off with my one and only, confidant and bestie,” she captioned the picture.

Fan targets AB’s wife for ruining his life, says he would rather be at World Cup

One of the Instagram users didn’t like Danielle’s post and blamed her for being the reason why AB is not playing for South Africa in the ongoing World Cup. He mentioned that if it was not for her, AB would be in the ongoing ICC event and then said that she ruined the latter’s life and broke so many hearts.

Danielle came down hard on the rude fan and took him to the task. She mentioned that yes he would be happy to be playing for the national team in the World Cup. She also warned him sternly to not comment something on their marriage and asked him not to comment on her posts in the future.
