ICC World Cup 2019: Aakash Chopra gives a befitting reply to a Pakistani fan who warns him ahead of India-Pakistan match

Cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra shut down a Pakistani fan after he tried to warn him ahead of the World Cup 2019 fixture between India and Pakistan.

Aakash took a subtle dig at Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed after the Men in Green lost to the Aussies on Wednesday. Ahead of the match, Sarfaraz has said that all the teams in World Cup are scared of Pakistan. However, Pakistan failed to live up to their captain’s boast as Australia defeated them by 41 runs in Taunton.

Chopra then trolled Sarfaraz for his comments saying that it seems Pakistan are afraid of ‘themselves’ after their performance against Australia.

But, this did not go down well with the Pakistani fan as he reminded Chopra of Pakistan’s famous win over India in the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy. The fan even warned the former India Test opener to not celebrate much.

Aakash Chopra’s befitting reply:

Aakash noticed the comment from the Pakistani fan and shut him up with a befitting reply. The Delhi-lad replied in his own style: “Aur agar World Cup wali?? You are free to choose the edition of your liking, love from India.”
